Moodboard Rate Card
You design the finish moodboard once. Lake Hazel sells it on the website to people who want a designer's finish plan and shopping list to do the project themselves, and pays you a share of every sale for as long as it stays in the catalog.
Your share of each sale
The 30% applies to the net sale price: the list price after sales tax, payment processing fees and any discount code are taken out.

Each tier includes everything in the tier before it. Every selection is a specific, purchasable product with a shopping link.
Finish standard
These are higher-end boards. Choose designer-grade finishes: natural stone or premium quartz, handmade or specialty tile, solid brass or premium-finish plumbing and hardware, wood or wood-look flooring, designer paint colors, and lighting with real presence. No builder-grade basics.

What one board can earn

How it works
- Build in the Lake Hazel tool. Every board is built in the Lake Hazel Moodboard Builder and meets the full selection count for its tier.
- Review before listing. Boards go through the assignment submission and critique process. Only boards marked Approved or Portfolio Approved are listed for sale.
- Lake Hazel sets the price and handles billing. All sales and payments run through Lake Hazel. You never invoice or collect from a buyer directly.
- Monthly payouts. Earnings for each calendar month are paid by the 15th of the following month, after the 14-day refund window closes. Refunded sales earn nothing.
- Keep sourcing current. When a product is discontinued or a link breaks, you swap in a comparable item within 7 days of notice. Boards left outdated may be paused.
- Exclusive listing. A listed board is sold only through Lake Hazel. You keep the right to show it in your portfolio with Lake Hazel credit.
- Changes. Lake Hazel may change list prices or these rates with 30 days' written notice. Sales made before the change are paid at the old rate.
- Ending. Either side can end this with 30 days' notice. Sales made before the end date are still paid.
- Independent designer. You work as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes. Lake Hazel issues a 1099 where required.
